What can bladder weakness underwear do?

Underwear for bladder weakness has an integrated absorbent pad in the crotch area. This protective layer consists of several functional layers and is still ultra-thin. The special thing about these panties is that they can be washed after use and reused several times.

Protection you can rely on.

SELENACARE bladder weakness underwear looks like regular underwear and feels pleasantly soft. Unlike regular underwear, these briefs reliably trap urine and protect you from unpleasant odours and moisture day and night. Ideal for droplet incontinence.

A sustainable solution for unclouded enjoyment of life.

Additional pads or inserts are no longer necessary with the bladder weakness briefs. Put them on, wash them and protect the environment. Thanks to their long life, you are not just able to save money, but also reduce waste.

Underwear for women with bladder weakness from SELENACARE

Bladder weakness is nothing to be ashamed of. We don't think bladder weakness should affect your quality of life. That's why we developed the Selenacare Bladder Weakness Briefs. They accompany you on your way to a more relaxed life.

How do bladder weakness underwear work?

  • Layer 1: Moisture is quickly transferred from the body to the next layers.
  • Layers 2 and 3: Liquids are safely absorbed. So the briefs always feel dry and fresh. The antibacterial protection prevents the development of bacteria and unpleasant odours.
  • Layer 4: The core contains a particularly absorbent extra protection that absorbs moisture and holds it in like a liner.
  • Layer 5: The leak-proof protective membrane makes the briefs impermeable to liquids and yet breathable.
  • Layer 6: The skin-friendly fabric in the outermost layer provides that pleasant underwear feeling.

Despite the 6 layers, the fabric technology is very thin. You can be sure that our bladder weakness briefs are just as comfortable to wear as normal underwear

Who has bladder weakness?

Bladder weakness or light incontinence can occur in any age group and affects about 1 in 3 women. Women are affected more often because pregnancy, hormonal changes and the shorter urethra are favourable factors for incontinence. Bladder weakness often occurs after an infection or when the pelvic floor muscles are weak. Unfortunately, losing droplets when sneezing, coughing or during physical exertion is still seen as a taboo today and can reduce one's enjoyment of life. Yet in many cases it is treatable.

Are bladder weakness panties hygienic?

Selenacare's triple hygiene protection is based on our innovative SELENAtec® multi-layer technology. It's built so ultra-thin that you won't notice the protection, but you can feel it working - resulting in no wetness, odours or leakage.

The antibacterial protection ensures that you always feel fresh and comfortable when wearing our underwear. This has also been certified according to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. This guarantees that components have been tested for harmful substances and that the article is safe for your health. EPA-registered and bluesign® approved for sustainable and environmentally friendly production processes. You can read more about this on our technology page.

How to clean your bladder weakness briefs

  • Wash in the washing machine at 30 to 60 degrees
  • Allow to air dry

Wash the briefs as usual in the washing machine with the rest of your dark laundry. If necessary, you can also rinse the underwear briefly after wearing it. Thanks to the antibacterial protective surface, bacteria and urine odour don't stand a chance. That's why SELENACARE briefs are hygienically clean even at 30 degrees. Washing at temperatures above 40 degrees may impair the protective function.
